Formed in 1989 by Ted Duckworth, the company's primary activity was focused on commercial leasing, brokerage and management of office and retail properties for third party owners. Based on a relationship oriented business, the company distinguished itself by successfully repositioning several local shopping centers and office properties.
In the mid 1990's the company moved from a third party contract services into the development and acquisition of office and retail properties and expanded into markets outside of Jackson. Acquisition experience includes the $72 million, 1 million square foot purchase of the AmSouth Bank Corporate office towers in Shreveport, Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi. Completed acquisitions total over $150 million dollars and include properties in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia with an aggregate square footage of over 2.2 million.
The company continues it efforts to acquire office and retail projects throughout the Southeast as well as pursuing niche development projects that meet our strict criteria. Through strategic partnerships and relationships, the company is poised to meet the opportunities created by the new Gulf Opportunity Zone Legislation in Mississippi and Louisiana. |
